HOT SPOT SKATE PARK
Skateboards, scooters, and inline skates are allowed. No bikes are allowed in the skate park.
Since opening in 2009, the Hot Spot Skate Park has become a popular facility for skateboarders throughout the Upstate and beyond.
Developed through a partnership with Spartanburg-based R.L. Jordan Oil Co., Partnership for Active Youth, and the City of Spartanburg, the park includes street-style features such as steps, rails, ramps, and ledges. The park also includes a flow course with a pyramid and concrete boxes, a euro gap, a quarter pipe, a bowl, a spine, a camel hump, and an eight-foot vertical ramp leading back into the pyramid.
